Each year I like to host an appreciation dinner for our volunteers.  Often a small gift is what I would order (not that doing this is not good), but how many trinkets can we collect (if you know what I mean)?  I’ve decided over the last number of years to have an appreciation dinner where I not only invite all those volunteers that helped out in our School of Religion Program but also their families.  We really want to say thank you not only to our volunteers but also to the families who supported the person in their family who committed to volunteering from week to week during the year.  This year we had about 240 attend our appreciation dinner.  It was a great way to gather as a community, say thank you and have a meal together.
